Today I gonna post about Health figures women should know.

1. Blood Pressure – At least once a year, if you have a family history of high blood pressure, you need to measure your blood pressure whenever you see your doctor. The normal range is 120Hg/80H but it depends on individuals. For diagnose of high/low blood pressure, you need to see a doctor.



2. Cholesterol level– There are good cholesterol (HDL) and bad cholesterol (LDL). The normal range of HDL is 60mg/dl and LDL is 130mg/dl. Total number should be under 200mg/dl.

1) Don’t eat too much!
2) Eat fresh vegetables and fruits rather than oily and salty foods
3) Do exercise! It is ok even do light one!
4) Eat 100g of chocolates that include high level of cacao. 
5) Take omega 3 supplements or eat fish!
6) Eat pea, Almonds, oat etc..



3. Thyroid hormone level- If you have thyroid hormone level in 0.4~0.5mU/L, you have healthy thyroid glands. Sudden pain, Digestive disorders, lose weight are sign and symptoms related to the hormone disease.

*Iodine- Iodine level in your body is the most important to adjust thyroid hormone level. 100~150/day is recommended. It is included in seaweed, kelp, green laver etc..

Avoid foods seafood which are included in a lot of Iodine. Also for hyperthyroidism patients, the metabolism is faster than normal so that there is lose weight or the loss of muscle mass. In this case, it is good to eat protein-rich foods such as chicken breast and tofu..

5. Bone density level need to be measured at least every year if you are more than 65


6. Waist circumference – It is accurate than BMI figure to know whether you are obese or not. If you waist circumference is over 35inch, it require regular check-up.



7. Blood levels – You can get the level of red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, hemoglobin, etc. and doctor can diagnose anemia, infection, or blood tumor.
